The images below are two different scenes that show the effects of adjusting Exposure Compensation (EC).
Scene #1 – Predominantly Bright



For Scene #1, I prefer the left image with an EC of 0. That is because it looks more warm and serene. The image captured the vision I was going after more than the others.
Scene #2 – Predominantly Dark



For Scene #2, I prefer the right image with an EC of +1. I can clearly see the subject and background colours. In other words, I think the image has better exposure compared to the others.
